From 14 November 2009 on, the Swedish manufacturer and store chain H&M will present the glamorous, sexy shoe and bag collection for women and men by the British accessory brand Jimmy Choo in around 200 stores across the world. This is H&M's first collaboration with an accessories brand.

"We adore Jimmy Choo’s shoes and bags. They are glamorous and sexy, and they add instant style to the simplest of outfits. I like the way we have worked with clothes to accessorize the shoes and bags rather than the other way around. This collaboration is particularly exciting because it’s our first shoe designer collection. It’s a joy to be able to offer top end designer shoes and bags of excellent quality to our customers." Since 1998, Jimmy Choo is represented in own boutiques in New York, Los Angeles (1999). In 2001, Jimmy Choo introduced handbags. The brand Jimmy Choo was awarded with several awards such as the 'Designer Brand of the Year' in 2008 from the British Fashion Council. Today, Jimmy Choo shoes, handbags, small leather goods, sunglasses and eyewear are available in department and speciality stores on 90 locations in 31 countries.

On the website www.jimmychoo.com is announced that Terry Richardson will photograph model Angela Lindvall for the campaign 'Project PEP' to support an AIDS initiative in South Africa empowering women in cooperation with the Elton John AIDS Foundation; the campaign is planned to be released in November 2009.

The designer Sandra Choi: The St. Martins School of Art graduate Sandra Choi is the Creative Director of Jimmy Choo since the beginning in 1996. She started her career in the shoe industry as an intern for Mr. Jimmy Choo in his couture workshop in London’s East End. For the Jimmy Choo Fall 2009 Pre-collection - in June 2009 already in the label's own boutiques, Sandra Choi has created a glam rock theme with flashes of neon and glossy print.
