Kartell announces new SS16 fashion collection pieces in collaboration with Christian Lacroix and Alessandro Dell'Acqua's label N°21
Milan headquartered label Kartell is mainly known for its furniture and in- and outdoor design objects made of moulded plastics. Since 2008, the Italian brand releases the 'Kartell à la Mode' line of shoes (since 2013 bags) together with creatives from fashion and beauty like the 'Bow Wow' ballerinas by Moschino. The Moschino ballerinas are made from moulded recyclable non-toxic thermoplastic and were launched in SS2011. This year for example, Kartell presented the collaborative Grace K X Collistar bag inspired by Collistar's Spring/Summer makeup collection. For November, Kartell announces the start of the online pre-order of new collaborative Spring/Summer 2016 fashion pieces: a handbag in two sizes by Christian Lacroix, the tote 'Le Paseo' (image below) and the clutch 'Le Mini Paseo' in five glossy colors with tone-in-tone opaque floral pattern, and the 'Knot' sandals (color range) by Alessandro Dell'Acqua's label N°21. Later this year in December, the Le Paseo bag will be available in boutiques and Kartell's own stores (incl. online); the sandals with opaque sole and glossy bow follow in January.
