Traveling design exhibition blickfang stops again in Oct/Nov in Vienna and opened a curated online-shop

Several tips for fashon, art and design events which happen this September in Vienna were already published here on Fashionoffice. Today, one of the biggest - if not the biggest annual design shopping event 'blickfang' in Germany (Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg), Austria (Vienna), and Switzerland (Basel, Zurich) is in focus.

From 30 October until 1 November, around 130 design labels (interior, fashion and jewellery) will present their products for sale at the MAK (Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art) in Vienna. The program of blickfang Vienna is multifarious and reaches from classical shopping booths over workshops to special exhibitions such as the one with the title Urban Gardening.

Additionally to the events, blickfang online-shop curators collect each day new products and post them via social media. The latest tip is embedded via Facebook on this page (below).

After Vienna, blickfang will tour to Hamburg (13 - 15 November) and Zurich (20 - 22 November).

Since more than ten years, blickfang is held each year in autumn in Vienna. Regular visitors know already some of the 'hotspots' at the design shopping event such as the booth of Swiss knitwear label xess+baba which combines advanced knit technology (pieces can be worn on both sides), signature graphical patterns and a comfortable urban style which could be described as elegant interpretation of casual wear. The label was founded by Tina Grässli in 1994 and produces on various locations in Europe with focus on sustainability such as OEKO-TEX 100 certified wool.
