Born in Germany in 1968 Vera von Garrel grew up in Muenster/ Westfalen where she attended the local school before enrolling at University of applied sciences - Fashion School in Hamburg, where her dissertation was honoured with the prestigious Wilhelm Lorch Stiftung Award.
On completing her studies, Vera worked at a number of ladies and children’s fashion companies.
