In July 2012, US label Alpha Industries presented the new campaign posters showing comics with pilot 'Buck Danny' in the main role.

Buck Danny is US-Navy pilot from the French-Belgian comic series with the same name and references the heritage of the label which was founded 1959 in Tennessee as provider of jackets for the US-Airforce. Until today - beneath outdoor and urban fashion, sportswear, bodywear, shoes, etc for men, women and kids, Alpha Industries delivers flight jackets for the US-Airforce.
Buck Danny is some years older than Alpha Industries. The comic figure by Jean-Michel Charlier (text) and Victor Hubinon (visuals) premiered in 1947.
(Note: In August 2012, the model contest for the new Alpha Industries Europe fall/winter 2013/14 catalogue will start on facebook.com/AlphaIndustriesEurope.)
