Comic figures team up again
...and fight against the evil in the upcoming movie 'The Avengers' (release in spring 2012).
Only one woman is part of the seven members superheros team under the organisation of a superspy in the new movie 'The Avengers' - and even this one, the 'Black Widow' (played by Scarlett Johansson) is defined over her superhero name by a man; well - a dead man. Natasha Romanoff is the 'real' name of the fictional figure 'Black Widow' which was created by three men and premiered in the mid-1960s in a Marvel Comics. The figure of female superhero 'Black Widow' was attributed through the years with various occupations such as teacher, fashion designer, or ballerina (find out more on marvel.com). 'The Avengers' teamed up for the first time in 1963.
