Ski style 2012/13: symbiosis human, mountain, powder adventure

In August 2012, the Austrian ski brand Kästle presents the new products for the upcoming fall/winter 2012/13 season.

One of the lines is the result of the collaboration between the designers of Kästle (ski engineering tradition since 1924) and the triple X-Games medalist US freestyle skier Colby James West (born 1985, grew up nearby Boston). The athlete co-designed the 'XX'-series of the 'Twintip'-line which is inspired by halfpipe, freestyle, touring experiences, and powder adventures.

On occasion of the collaboration, Kästle produced videos with US freestyler Colby James West. The videos express the symbiosis of human, mountain, powder adventure, such as the one on this page (above) showing the skier in traditional clothing of the European Alps in 'Lederhosen' (leather pants) in the role of a tourist-guide through Austria.
