Sportive dress with future-tech print

...from the first-ever 'Zalando'-collection (release on 2nd March 2012) by the fast growing European online retailer of clothing, shoes, accessories, and home textiles from over 1,000 labels like DKNY, Ralph Lauren, United Nude, Geox, adidas, Giesswein, Calvin Klein, Diesel, Palladium or La Perla.

The company was founded 2008 by Robert Gentz and David Schneider in Berlin and started in Germany. In 2009, Austria followed, 2010 the Netherlands and France, and since last year (2011), people in Italy, United Kingdom and Switzerland can buy online at Zalando.

In early March, Zalando will not only debut with an own collection, the online retailer will present its SS2012 collection additionally 'offline' for the duration of three days in a pop-up store in Berlin.

The collection of 80 models of shoes, 50 pieces of clothing and 20 different bags is divided into four lines: (fig. original:) the 'Sci Tec (Futuristic Sportswear)'-line with sportive items in metallic-blue-dark greys like the dress on this page with mystical layered photo-holography print; the 'Modern Tribal (Graphic Ethno)'-line with dresses, tops, skirts, trousers, wedges, bags in warm, earthy colors; and the 'New Retro (Midcentury Style)' division provides items inspired by the 1950/60s.

The Berlin based designer Bernadett Penkov (born in Budapest, studied at ESMOD Berlin, received several awards like the 'Moet & Chandon Fashion Debut') created the 4th line under the title 'Bernadett Penkov for Zalando Collection' with elegant-sportive daywear pieces.
