For the new album Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Hofer have mixed analog and digital, live instruments and sampling. On their website you can find the musicians' statements about the album, which is about contemplation and concentration: hearing the music helps to make free from pressures from outside or internally. For Rupert Hofer the aim was to make "... An album to invest one hour of your attention and concentration, almost like an audio massage." Tosca is on tour (partly with visual artist Fritz Fitzke)…

Exhibition curator Luca Missoni, the second son of the founders Rosita and Ottavio Missoni of the famous Italian knitwear company Missoni (since 1953), is focusing on the 'work in progress' of making a piece of clothing: he takes the visitor behind the scenes of Missoni, exploring the technical working processes involved in the production of the fabrics with the iconographical zig-zag stripes as well as the typical one-of-a-kind clothing pieces.

U.F.O.: Blurring the boundaries between art and design The NRW-Forum in Düsseldorf questions the difference or similarities of contemporary design-art by presenting works by designers/artists like Ron Arad, Hussein Chalayan, Liam Gillick, Marc Newson, Franz West... from 23 May until 5 July. On the occasion of the exhibition the NRW-Forum has opened a blog for the public discussion of the theme: Where does design end and art begin?

The Austrian Design Festival assembly celebrates with the opening of the exhibition "tour en l´air" by German artist Ursula Neugebauer four days of fashion, music, art, interior design and virtual world on the catwalk, in exhibitions, lectures, temporary shops, concerts and parties with works by more than 70 designers/artists from Austria and South European countries during 14 and 17 May in Graz (Styria).
