"Like
last year it was again very important for us to win jury members from
different areas of the fashion industry and from different continents
for the Triumph Fashion Award 2005. To illustrate this aim I want to mention
four of the 16 jury members from the areas science, design, fairs/events
and media: fashion theorist Prof. Dr. Ingrid Loschek is one of the most
important fashion and costume scientists in Europe, Mary Jo Diehl from
New York, is one of the rare fashion designer, who presents her work in
art galleries and museums of modern art, Kunie Usuki from Tokyo has established
Japan’s most successful Fashion & Art Festival “Design
Festa” and Jack Yan, founder of Lucire, one of the highest
ranking fashion magazines on the internet, is one of the most influential
online fashion pioneers." Dr. Karin Sawetz, fashionoffice.org
