Swarovski Optik presents sporty 'CL Curio' binoculars in the design by Marc Newson with focus on seamless foldable bridge

In the currently unstable times, the ability of looking forward, of having a vision of what's coming can save lives - such as the world has experienced due to the pandemic since early 2020 (keyword: vaccinations), and can save the planet with measures developed by climate researchers from extrapolations of the present into the future. In the last months, many have practised researcher-like closer observations of their own health and the world around them. Nutrition, ingredients of meals, healthy fitness programs, walks in nature and environmentally friendly behaviour have gained a higher status. Lifestyle has changed - it slowed down and people became aware that experiencing the present consciously with all senses (and if necessary, with senses expanding devices) is the best preparation for the future.

The latest binoculars 'CL Curio 7x21' (7 magnification, 21 effective objective lens diameter) by Swarovski Optik in the design by Marc Newson were presented recently with reference to the observation of the beauty of living, the mysteries of nature, which can't be seen always without special equipment. Marc Newson (biography), the master of reducing design to the essential for high functionality, is known worldwide for being one of the most important creators in various fields from fashion to technology. For the design of the sporty-looking binoculars 'CL Curio', Marc Newson placed his focus on the seamless design of the foldable bridge.
In the video below (part of the interview with Marc Newson), the designer speaks about working on the development of the CL Curio and his visit to the Swarovski Optik factory in Tyrol, Austria.
