Togetherness, celebrating with others is trending again! Lena Hoschek presents new 'Mini-Me' collection with impressions of upcoming family festivities

The upcoming festive season will become thanks to the vaccination availability in Austria for many families a come-together with grandparents and grandchildren without any severe risk of getting infected or the risk to infect someone else. Togetherness, living and celebrating together, is trending again! Fashion.at looked through the latest press releases for fashion tips for the upcoming festive season.

The family looks on view on this page are from the new festive times campaign for the 'Mini-Me' range by Lena Hoschek from the Austrian brand's AW21/22 'Biedermeier' collection which was presented already earlier this year (article). Biedermeier is a historic period signifying an era of social changes and associated strongly with people's retreat into privacy. Some might be reminded of the lockdowns during the pandemic and the trend to upgrade the living space with adaptations for working and schooling. Today's and very probably future fashion is and will be strongly influenced by the past retreat times which were necessary for the protection of the health system before the population had the chance to get vaccinated. The Lena Hoschek 'Biedermeier' collection isn't explicitly designed as an output of the experience of living under the restrictions of a pandemic but it fits well the current zeitgeist and the people's upgraded living spaces. The extended functionality of the own home is the positive side effect of the pandemic.

The collection is made of a play with signature Biedermeier esthetics and contemporary classical fashion such as fabrics with prints in 19th century home and wallpaper style for modern interpretations of historical women's dresses and traditional checks for casual men's and boys' shirts. Lena Hoschek is known for delivering every season fashion creations which appear like time travels through centuries. The 'Mini-Me' (kids in the age of 2 to 8 years) range is the latest branch of the designer and mother of two young kids Lena Hoschek.

Mini-Me was started with the 'Antoinette's Garden' SS21 collection with items for mothers and daughters (article). In October 2021, the brand launched the fathers and sons range. The red-checked fabrics are used for mother and/or daughter items as well. The pieces on view on this page are available in the shops of Lena Hoschek in Vienna, Graz, Kitzbühel, in the brand's special children store Bunny Bogart in Vienna as well as online at lenahoschek.com and bunnybogart.com.
