Rebekka Ruétz stages the sustainability goals "Buy less, waste less, fix more, share more and be willing to pay more" with 'braveNEWworld' couture at Berlin Fashion Week

Austrian designer Rebekka Ruétz developed this year together with three other designers - Kilian Kerner, Marcel Ostertag and Danny Reinke, a new concept for the Berlin Fashion Week. The latest edition of the BFW took place between 16 and 21 January. The 'W.E4.Fashion Day' was held on 17 January at the Bolle Festsäle. In an interview, the designers spoke about the decision to initiate a new format after the MBFW - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is no longer happening. On the website of the Berlin Fashion Week, it's announced that the W.E4.Fashion Day will be further extended in the coming seasons for a target group interested in sustainability and forward-looking topics.

Recently, the press images of the runway presentation of the Rebekka Ruétz 'braveNEWworld' collection consisting of more than 30 outfits arrived at Fashion.at. The experimental couture looks are highlighting the topic upcycling and the sustainability goals "Buy less, waste less, fix more, share more and be willing to pay more". Rebekka Ruétz used for the creation of the collection old sports wear by Scott like ski clothing, fabrics from the home textiles collection by Home Interior and lingerie such as bras, bralettes and high waist slips by Hanro. The full list of cooperation partners including brands like Skechers and MAC Cosmetics was posted by the designer on Instagram.
