Open call by the Austrian 'Poolbar Festival' (8 July - 15 August) for applications to the upcycling 'Re: Post-Labor' and media development 'Digital Labor'; deadline 7 March

Poolbar Festival in Feldkirch in the Austrian federal state Vorarlberg sent a reminder of the call for applications to two projects where designers, technicians, and other creative heads can realize ideas in the fields upcycling of materials into new lifestyle products and - at the second call, in the field creation of new media where digital specialists develop technical solutions for virtual festival stages with enabled audience interactivity. According to the press release, the applications can be submitted until 7th March.

The first project carries the name 'Re:Post-Labor'. It was started last year together with the Austrian postal service 'Österreichische Post', Biorama and Poolbar Festival as a think-tank concerning sustainability, careful use of resources and as a practically oriented laboratory where ideas are turned into upcycled new products. In 2020, participants developed from old workwear, new fashion pieces, accessories or even a tent.
