In Antwerp (Belgium) living Harvey Bouterse is one of the 10 finalists at the Mango Fashion Awards 2010, who are presented on the label's website with videos. You can vote for the designers with Facebook's 'Like'-button.

Fashionoffice has selected for this article Harvey Bouterse because of his entertaining and informative video presentation, which gives an insight into the work place of the designer, provides views on his creations presented by a model, and explains the approach of the ceramic and sculpture addicted designer - all this in not more than 2 minutes.

The cultural influences of South America and Africa as well as the 'travelling' aspect are the inspiring sources for his fashion. On his own blog, Harvey Bouterse presents in October 2010 the sculpture 'Traveller' showing a man who is wearing jeans, a helmet or cap, and a rucksack hrviandwoutr.blogspot.com/2010/10/harvey-bouterse-ceramic-sculpture.html.

The winner of the Mango Fashion Award 2010 will be announced on 20 October 2010 at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) in Barcelona. Head of the jury of this year's award is French couturier Jean Paul Gaultier.
