Chantelle Winnie for Desigual, 30 January 2015
Chantelle Winnie is Desigual's brand ambassador for Spring/Summer 2015
Images of the new campaign for Desigual Spring/Summer 2015 with America's Next Top Model 2014 contestant Chantelle Winnie (aka Winnie Harlow, aka Chantelle Brown-Young) were spread online by the model via her Facebook page for the first time several days ago. Already last autumn, the Spanish brand collaborated with Chantelle Winnie who belongs currently to the most interesting models in fashion.
The Canadian (Toronto) model became famous as 16 years old girl after a journalist published a video about her on YouTube. The two color pigmentation of Chantelle's skin is caused by vitiligo (partial loss of pigmentation) and is one of the signs which make her unique in the world of fashion. Last year at TEDxTeen (video), Chantelle as 19 years old woman spoke about the definition of beauty and came to the conclusion that it's up to the viewer to decide personally what beauty is.
In winter 2014, Dazed ranked her under the Top 100 people who redefined the future of style and youth culture in 2015. In November, she starred in Eminem's video 'Guts Over Fear ft. Sia' and appeared in the role of singer Sia. Chantelle can be found under several names online; when Tyra Banks selected her for last year's America's Next Top Model, Chantelle Brown-Young introduced herself with Chantelle Winnie (video); on Dazed, she is named Winnie Harlow and in October 2014, she launched her own website chantellewinnie.com: there you can find also selected images of the new Desigual Spring/Summer 2015 campaign: chantellewinnie.com/portfolio.
