Fashionoffice high summer selection: classical forms mixed with unusual, futuristic and humorous elements

The three pieces were seen in Vienna where the heat wave of the last two weeks is over and weather gives the first taste of fresher autumn days with some steamy hours, rain and bright sun shine. The high summer selection on this page is perfect for such unstable conditions.

• The mud-grey lamb leather trench coat with cut-outs in macramé pattern was seen at Kiton in Vienna. The coat is a combination of a timeless trench with a coat's unusual pattern that references knotting.
• The sunglasses Dior Abstract are a playful mix of a classical form with futuristic elements: the horn frame (in this case in acetate) in conjunction with metal bridge (which reminds aviator sunglasses) and the mirrored lenses in the magnetic tone Ice Blue are in this composition the culmination of contemporary elegance how its known from modern urban architecture of skyscrapers. The sunglasses of the Dior FW2015-16 collection will be available at Dior Boutiques from August, at selected opticians from October.
• The 'Seastar' ring from the 'Mademoiselle' collection by the Viennese jeweler Oliver Heemeyer is a traditional signet ring with a sea star which seems to crawl over the ring to the free place where the sign of its wearer is normally engraved. It's made of 18kt gold and diamonds.
