Royal College of Art London graduate Hannah Jinkins won H&M Design Award 2016

Olivier Rousteing, Creative Director of Balmain, says about Hannah Jinkins, the winner of the H&M Design Award 2016 which was handed out yesterday in London: "Hannah is amazing. She has her own unique vision. She has such strong energy, she's modern, young and really knows what she wants. She works with a tough fabric, yet somehow manages to make it sexy and glamorous at the same time."

Olivier Rousteing was one of eight jury members; on view at the photo below with Hannah Jinkins whose graduation collection (items made of fabrics like raw denim depicted at designaward.hm.com) was selected from eight finalists (each won €5,000) of 40 design schools from all over the world.
