Nixon surfer smart watch with real time data concerning weather conditions at favorite spots

Californian label Nixon launched the smart watch for surfers in collaboration with the media company Surfline/Wavetrak Inc. under the name 'Ultratide powered by Surfline' via introduction video on Vimeo and images of professional surfers; four-time World Surfing Champion and Condé Nast Female Athlete of the Year 1998 Lisa Andersen (biographical video) is one of them.

The Ultratide provides real time data via Bluetooth about 10 live forecast categories such as wave height, wind direction, water and air temperatures etc of the watch wearer's favorite surf spots. It's announced that currently data for more than 3,300 spots are available. The watch is designed and built by Nixon and powered by the streaming coastal cam network with surf forecasts and editorial content Surfline.
