Modern cities as playgrounds for physical activities inspired Peak Performance for new urban sports fashion

Highlight of the first looks of the 'Performance Redefined' line Spring/Summer 2016 by Peak Performance are 'The Civil Pants' for women and men in long and for him additionally in short (image left) version. They are made from a polynylon mix which is light and dries fast. The line was created for today's lifestyle in an urban environment where working, traveling and fitness are merging. The development of modern cities as playgrounds for sports activities is central for this new lifestyle. Jonas Olsson, Head of Active Design at Peak Performance, introduces into the 'Performance Redefined' idea: "Imagine an early morning trek or bike ride, you work all day and catch a flight to New York. You walk around town and spend your time in trendy shops and restaurants. Imagine having a pair of pants that work, performance- and style wise, for all these activities. This is what Performance Redefined is all about. It's about merging performance and style and creating pieces that transcend seamlessly between an active and urban setting."

The items are designed for the combination with pieces from the other lines 'Outdoor' (mountaineering,...) and 'Urban'; the Spring/Summer 2016 colors are therefore synchronized.
