Miss Piggy in a dirndl by Lola Paltinger

On occasion of the start of Disney's movie 'Muppets Most Wanted' (1 May in Austria, Germany), Miss Piggy is on promotion tour and shared photos and a video insight from her meeting with couturier Lola Paltinger. The Facebook post with one of the images and YouTube video from today 14 April 2014 (both embedded into this page), show Miss Piggy in a tailor-made original 'dirndl' by Lola Paltinger. The Munich-based dressmaker studied at Esmod, worked at Vivienne Westwood before she founded her own label and is known for the combination of fashion and tracht (=traditional costume of a region). She derives her inspirations from various lifestyles of different times and the glamour of Hollywood of the 1930/40s. Additionally to the couture pieces, Lola Paltinger produces each season ready-to-wear collections and collaborates with labels such as a chocolate brand which is known for a lilac cow.
