Painter Christian Ludwig Attersee created the 'Blue Bionic' fabric designs for the Haute Couture Austria Award 2015

On 5 November at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Salzburg, the pre-selection for the Haute Couture Austria Award 2015 will happen in front of a jury with members from design, media, art like fashion designer Valerie Campbell (mother of Naomi Campbell), TV presenter (Puls4) Sabine Mord, or one of Austria's most important contemporary painters Christian Ludwig Attersee. Last mentioned designed the fabrics for this year's motto 'Blue Bionic' which references the symbiosis of organic - technical. More than 40 designers - such as Maison de Couture which posted glimpses of the making-of the blue item - have submitted their work for the show in Salzburg. The jury will select 12 designers whose creations will enter the final round at the end of November; details about the final round's date and place are not announced yet.
