Vienna Insight: Legionaer presents snow and water sport boards made of patented carbon embroideries

On occasion of the currently running event 'Wiener Handwerk' (25 - 27 November) by the men's magazine 'Wiener' at Sofiensäle in Vienna, Fashionoffice came along the boards by the Austrian company 'Legionaer'. The wake- and snowboards look like made of dark black linen- and twill(jeans)-fabrics with embroideries which show red-golden florals, silver dragons, birds or wings. Legionaer was founded by Andreas Kisling, an engineer in the motorsports field. The idea for the carbon material development was born during his work on a jet ski. This was 2014 and he and his team elaborated during the last two years new options to apply an artful appeal to the carbon fibre compositions. Since this year, Kisling has a patent on the stitching method of the carbon material and the automotive industry has already paid attention to the work of Legionaer.

The picture was captured at the 3-days event 'Wiener Handwerk' by the men's magazine 'Wiener' on the 1st day on 25 November 2016.

Tip: The ones who aren't in Vienna this weekend can use the online shop 'Austrian Limited' with a selection of products by Austrian manufactories; also by Legionaer.
