Fashionoffice training FW16/17 tip: Outdoor activities à la Porsche Design Sport by adidas

Sports in the streets is one of the trendiest training activities in urban envrionments. The collaborative men's wear collection 'Porsche Design Sport by adidas' for Fall/Winter is inspired by the idea to explore cities per feet during an adventure run in (stylish luxury) clothing and footwear items that support the physical through new technologies, protect from harsher weather conditions like rain or snow, and care with light-reflectors for the wearer's street security.

The technical fleece fabric climaheat™ - for example used for the 'Tech Fleece' top with hood (on view at the image on this page), keeps better warm and dries faster than average materials. For the visual protection, the design team applied reflective dot-prints on arms or legs (such as at the Tech Fleece top, tights and shorts) and worked even with a light-sensitive all-over print which changes the look of its surface; the running jacket is made of a fabric which protects the wearer visually as its appeal transforms from dark uni-colored into camo-print at night. The line offers footwear with special sole for wet streets; the 'Winter Trainer' is developed for a better grip while walking or running and comes with snowy-ice weather-fitting Glacier-camo print.
