Europe's largest shoe retailer Deichmann provides workshops for 'Deichmann Influencer Club'-members

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) affects users, publishers, and marketing professionals as well. From today, the GDPR rules are effective. In many cases, the new rules will cause the change of communication strategies. The ones who are already publishing via international platforms such as Instagram are on the safe way. Advertisers on the other hand will prefer global players with accredited systems. For direct contact with special groups, influencer marketing was already before the GDPR deadline trending and its importance will rise once more because of the qualities of channels used by influencers.

In February this year, Europe's largest shoe retailer Deichmann was mentioned by the German advertising magazine W&V (Werben & Verkaufen; translated Advertising & Selling) under thematic keywords such as Content Marketing, Influencer Marketing,.. with an article about the brand's activities on occasion of the founding of the Deichmann Influencer Club which includes educational events for social media publishers.

Yesterday, the news about the start of the first workshop series were spread. The first workshop was held by German social media specialist Svenja Walter (blog meinesvenja.de) with 15 selected 'Deichmann Influencer Club'-members about writing good stories, making professional photos, or getting found on social media platforms inclusively keyword selection, SEO. Recently, Svenja Walter posted a video on Facebook where she introduces into her online course about successful publishing by pointing out the importance of numbers delivered by statistical tools for deciding on which themes will be worked further or not for receiving clicks on pages to increase the reach.
