Impressions from the 'Frauen Fun Run', the Women's Fun Run, one of the pre-events of the upcoming Asics Austrian Women's Run (Österr. Frauenlauf, 27 May) in Vienna

Yesterday on 11 April in the afternoon, Fashion.at came accidently along the 'Frauen Fun Run' at the Prater in Vienna where young girls up to seniors participated in the running challenge over 3 or 6 kilometers. The runners - from professionals to the ones who are seemingly in the beginnings of their training, started in several relays.

According to the information at the organizer's website, more than 1.600 runners were counted yesterday at the 16th Frauen Fun Run. One of the themes of the speakers before the launch of the competition was this year's Austrian Women's Run t-shirt (which isn't designed yet) and that participants of the Frauen Fun Run 2018 were seen in last year's pink-flaming t-shirt of the Women's Run 2017.

The banners of sports shoe label Asics and the Austrian drugstore chain DM (Drogeriemarkt) were placed very prominently at the women's and girl's event. The sports shoe label is also the main sponsor of the upcoming 'Asics Austrian Women's Run' on 27 May; the registration to the event is open now!

(Since March, Austrian Women's Run offers special running and Nordic walking trainings.)
