Fashion jewelry designer Shourouk Rhaiem embellished supermarket goods with crystals for 'Ordinary Life' exhibition at Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Vienna

Yesterday, Paris-based fashion jewelry designer Shourouk Rhaiem posted a behind the scenes video from her first art exhibition in collaboration with Swarovski at the Swarovski Kristallwelten Store in Vienna. The jewelry designer has already teamed up with the label for a jewelry collection in 2013. Now, Swarovski Kristallwelten invited her to create an art installation. For the exhibition 'Ordinary Life', Shourouk Rhaiem used 150 kg crystals for 150 everyday objects - consumer goods like cleansers, corn flakes, ketchup or beverages, and staged the useful items outfitted in 60ies pop-art style into a glamorous supermarket scenery at the Swarovski Kristallwelten Store at Kärntner Strasse 24 in Vienna. The exhibition is on view until the end of April.
