'Paris by Night' creation by makeup artist for the runway

On 28 February 2012, Anthony Vaccarello presented the new fall/winter 2012/13 at the Docks En Seine during Paris Fashion Week.

The beauty look of the 30 models is created by Estée Lauder's Creative Director Tom Pecheux together with a 15 members artist group while Christina Conrad applied with her team a brand new green-black 'Pure Color Nail Lacquer' on the models' nails. The collaborations with fashion designers are used by the Estée Lauder artists to test new products backstage and get new inspirations for makeup collections.

He paints an artful 'starlight' around the eyes with burgundy-black shades, pencils, sticks and applies shine on the eye-lid. For the lips, Tom Pecheux uses a neutral, almost invisible lipstick; on the nails green-black color (nails by Christina Conrad for Estée Lauder). Photos on this page: Courtesy of Estée Lauder.

Tom Pecheux about the nail style of the 'Paris by Night'-look: "The dark green nail color compliments the luxurious but cool fashion of Anthony. The skin is very natural and fresh, so this deep shade gives a strong Winter spirit and a nice finishing touch. The shade is very dark, almost black, and the glow of the light reflects the green shade. I love the sophisticated rebel and offbeat spirit of this green shade. It's very light metallic finish gives the shade a beautiful glow."
