MoMA (NY) invites to the interactive #dance party by CHERYL during the #art exhibition 'Cindy Sherman'
On 10 March 2012, PopRally (an event series) at the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art, New York) invites to the interactive dance party hosted by the Brooklyn based 4 members (masked, semi-anonymous) artist collective CHERYL on occasion of the retrospective 'Cindy Sherman' (works from the mid-1970s over fashion photography from the early 1980s to the present; open until 11 June 2012).
PopRally guests are invited to experience Cindy Sherman's artwork in praxis and transform into other characters like celebrities from film, TV, music..., try out new identities and change into the quasi-'costume' of other role models.
The exhibition 'Cindy Sherman' travels to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (14 July - 7 October 2012); Walker Art Center, Minneapolis (10 November 2012 - 17 February 2013); Dallas Museum of Art (17 March - 9 June 2013).
