Call for surf travelers who are interested in digital stories, music, cooking, nature...

fig. original: On 4 March 2013, all-terrain vehicle label Jeep started in collaboration with sportswear and equipment brand Quiksilver the online call for surfers to join the travel-film-sport project 'Onboard' about wave riding and lifestyle.

On jeeponboard.com, Jeep announces that the docu-fiction in road-movie style will be filmed at the surf mecca in Hossegor in France. The good news: subscribers don't have to be good surfers. The better news: the ones with the highest level of 'digitalisation' (in the meaning of story telling on the web) and other passions like music, cooking or nature have the best chances to convince the jury which consists of Jeep and Quiksilver representatives. Users can enter via online form or subscribe with their Facebook account.

Five surfers have the chance to join via Jeep's Onboard call four professional Quiksilver surfers on a journey with the cross-country 4-wheeler Jeep Wrangler. The travel adventures will be chronicled as docu-fiction series over eight episodes and will be accompanied by making-of material and background information about the participants such as personal insights and photos on Jeep's social media sites and on jeep-people.com. Nautical TV (subscribers in 37 countries) will air the episodes from June on.
