(At the end of the 4th week of the shutdown due to coronavirus): What's about wedding?

'Wedding' was one of the topics at media (such as ORF) on occasion of the introduction into the update of the Covid-19 regulation this week. The update foresees an extension of the restrictive measures and at the same time an easing such as that stores up to 400 square meters are allowed to open from 14th April. Extended are the restrictive measures in cases where gatherings can be expected like concerts. Special exceptions of meetings with others concern weddings and funerals. In both cases, the meetings are restricted to close family members. It's very possible that events like theatre, opera, or festivals can't be held until June or through the whole summer. Nobody knows exactly how the pandemic spreads in the next weeks and months.

So when it's not possible to postpone the wedding, it can be celebrated with the close family. Nothing speaks against sending already a 'Save The Date' to friends for announcing that the wedding party will happen later this year.

Images: Fashion.at searched through press releases for currently available collections for a wedding in the close circle of the family. Swedish brand Monki launched this month the festive clothing collection consisting of romantic pieces in spring colors like lavender and fabrics such as satin or tulle. The images of the Monki Spring/Summer 2020 'Save The Date' campaign show dresses from the latest occasion wear; available since this month online.
