European supermarket chain Lidl teamed up with Jette Joop for designer masks

Currently, Austrian authorities are discussing publicly if wearing a mask shall become again obligatory for customers in supermarkets. In some of the country's regions, Covid-19 measures have already been tightened again. Wearing a mask in crowded places or closed rooms, on train, etc. can prevent people from getting the virus respectively multiplying it. Even the ones who are infected without having any symptoms can spread the disease. However people think about masks; wearing a mask where recommended is the lesser evil during this pandemic.

European supermarket chain Lidl publishes at lidl.de tips for German customers for getting through the pandemic such as the three golden rules for stopping Corona (distance, hand hygiene and masks) together with the announcement of the latest fashion collaboration with Jette Joop who extended the idea of designer masks by an interactive approach for kids: The design of one of the masks of the kids' double pack offers areas which can be painted with textile markers.

The non-medical nose-mouth protection 'Jette Joop X Lidl' will be available in versions for adults (double pack for 4,86.- Euro) and kids (double pack for 3,89.- Euro) from 20 July 2020 at the around 3.200 Lidl stores in Germany. Parts of the purchase of the masks will be used for the support of the Corona-emergency aid of the German Red Cross. Source: "obs/Lidl/Gregor Hohenberg". Photo: © Lidl.
