Fashion.at pick: Viennese studio Glein presents practical everyday items in puristic design

Glein is the fashion and furniture label by Sebastian Leitinger whose design studio and store is located at Neustiftgasse 18 near Sankt Ulrichs Platz. It's worth visiting the region for an exploration of the lifestyle of a rather reserved creative art and design scene of Vienna with shops like Runway or eigensinnig. Glein is a representative of a sensitive style which is developed from thoughts about the environment, fair production, and people's economic circumstances. The used leather of the tote on view on this page for example is a by-product of the food industry, it's naturally tanned, manufactured by people under fair conditions and price-consciously distributed at the label's own store and website. In times of communities' growing dependence on regional economics, it is more important than ever to mention the synergy effects of the market.
