Lena Hoschek AW2020-21 is for globetrotters who love folklore

Austrian designer Lena Hoschek is known for fusing fashion with traditions, cultures from all parts of the world. The upcoming (available from mid-August at stores and online) collection 'Artisan Partisan' was developed on a time and space travel with stops at 18th century Vienna where wool, silk scarves with Persian patterns and fringes have started to become fashion like it's used until today as 'Wiener Schal' often in combination with Austrian traditional clothing, or Pakistan where the colorful Ikat silk weavings of the collection come from.

The design of the dress 'Vanderbildt' is described at the brand's Instagram with the words "When you can't decide which fabric to use because they are all stunning, you just create a patchwork dress…" Photos by Stefan Knauer/Getty Images for Lena Hoschek; © 2020 Getty Images.
