Ludwig Reiter Spring/Summer 2020 shoe collection presented by musicians at the Palm House in the Schnbrunn Palace Gardens
Austrian shoe label Ludwig Reiter has chosen the 19th century architecture of the Palm House of Schnbrunn Palace in Vienna as location for the photo shooting of the Spring/Summer 2020 range of women's and men's footwear in classical designs with modern twist. The protagonists are musicians who perform from classical music over tango, jazz, to chansons and traditional Viennese songs. The pictures appear at the new catalogue Spring/Summer 2020 which isn't published yet (fast checked today on ludwig-reiter.com); two images from the SS2020 catalogue are on (pre)view on this page.
Images, from left: Austrian musician Andreas Ottensamer is principal clarinettist of the Berlin Philharmonic (bio). He wears the 'Amalfi' suede leather loafer; the comfortable light business shoe is inspired by espadrilles. Viennese composer, pianist Bla Korny (bio) plays a central role at the catalogue; he appears like an impresario together with the other musicians. At the image with Andreas Ottensamer, he is dressed in 'Penny Loafers' from horse leather in oxblood.
Right: At the image showing him speaking with musician Ethel Merhaut, composer Béla Korény wears the elegant sporty 'Trainer'. Ethel Merhaut - the sopranist is a cosmopolite and travels for her performances of new interpretations of 20ies, 30ies jazz, swing classics, Viennese songs and Yiddish tangos around the world (bio) - is outfitted with the sneaker 'Marathon'.
