Winter 2020 style tip for holidays in the alps: Put something warm on

People all over the world adjust their lifestyles to the current Covid-19 measures. Some of the security strategies are probably not clearly enough communicated. In Austria, new rules will become effective on Friday. How the regulations are practised in 'real life' is shown by official associations such as the Austrian Tourist Office on occasion of the winter openings (Oct - Dec) with a Q&A about winter holidays, snow sports in times of corona: Après-ski such as known from former seasons (dancing, singing and no physical distance) is cancelled, ski courses will take place (max. 10 participants), Christmas markets with special security concepts will happen, to mention three topics from the Q&A list.

In sum: Put something warm on. The best place during the pandemic is outside with 1 meter distance to others.

Fashion.at collected some items for the outdoor winter season.

The mask is a must-have, even outdoors when using cable cars, ski buses or visiting a winter market. The (non-medical) mask with the writing 'WEAR A MASK' on view on this page is equipped with layered filtration (replaceable filter system) and artwork by Sophia Chang (Queens, New York; studied at Parsons School of Design) from the fashion & artists collection by Vistaprint.
