Genderless winter sports collection 'Rowing Blazers x FILA Ski' pays homage to the Italian Alps and the country's ski athletes of the early 90s

The lockdown rules concerning skiing with closed cable cars break currently many hearts in Europe. In Austria, ski regions are allowed to reopen on 24th December; hotels and gastronomy on 7th January. So far the plan. We'll see how the infections, hospitalizations and death rate develops in the next days under the 'lockdown light' rules.

Fashion.at looks hopefully into the future and searched for styles for winter sports outfits. The genderless by European alpine style inspired collection of apparel, goggles and shoes 'Rowing Blazers x FILA Ski' was launched these days. Both companies, Rowing Blazers with headquarters in New York and Fila originating from Italy are outfit specialists for professional athletes. For the 10-piece collection, the recreational aspect of winter sports at all terrains was combined with performance apparel technology and long-lasting outerwear fashion appeal for being worn "on the slopes in Cortina or the streets in Soho," such as Jack Carlson, Founder of Rowing Blazers is cited at the media release, "I've been obsessed with FILA for a long time. ... From its Alpine origins, FILA became closely associated with a golden age of Italian skiing in the early '90s when its athletes dominated the sport with their performance, personality, and sense of style."
