Design fair Blickfang website was released with practical preview of participating labels with filter after categories fashion, furniture, accessories,... and cities (Basel, Vienna, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Zürich, Düsseldorf)
At the end of September, the European design fair and shopping event Blickfang presented the new visual design created by Hamburger Studio Besau Marguerre. Also the website at the URL blickfang.com shows the new corporate design which foresees that the main color changes every year. The current season 2021/22 appears in sage green. The website navigation is clearly structured with six categories in German (four in the English version). In both versions, the online shop can be reached directly via navigation such as the preview of the labels which participate in the design fair events in the three German language countries Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The preview category is named 'Entdecken' respectively 'Explore'. The database allows filtering after product categories such as 'fashion' or 'furniture' and/or the city where Blickfang stops on its three-country tour. The search can be targeted additionally with the filter 'Neu' for labels which exhibit for the first time at Blickfang.
Fashion.at tried the filtering (at the German version) with the categories 'Fashion' and 'Blickfang Wien 21'. Among the results, the winner of last year's Blickfang Wien Design Award, Vienna-based label Daryn Chook which convinced the jury in 2020 with the fashion concept (performance wear for biking, walking in urban environment and traveling, design development after circular economy principles, regional production 'Made in Austria') as well as the design of the booth.
