Handbags, clutches, weekender,... seen at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid Fall/Winter 2021/22

The fashion shows of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid started on 8 April with the new lingerie collection by Spanish brand Andres Sarda. The presentation happened with a film and burlesque show which paid tribute to night clubs, dance performances and zest for life. Colorful and very life-affirming also the following presentations such as the one by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada which appears like being drenched in happiness. Fashion.at looked through the already available press material on the search for close-ups on bags presented at the Fall/Winter 2021/22 catwalks.

The Fernando Claro '2057 LIS' Fall/Winter 2021/22 collection was presented on 8 April. At ifema.es/en/mbfw-madrid/designers/fernando-claro, closer information about the inspiring idea of "a secret society in 2057, where money does not exist anymore" is described with reference to Samurai ethics. The oversized tote is from the Otrura FW 2021/22 collection dedicated to the term 'latente' with focus on creativity and freedom concerning self-expression as well as living one's own individuality. Maya Hansen FW 2021/22 (presented on 8th April) might evoke thoughts about sado-masochism. The collection with the name 'Classic Fetish' is described at ifema.es/en/mbfw-madrid/designers/maya-hansen as an exploration of the questions "Sensuality in times of social distance? The weekender was presented at the runway of the 'Non-Seasonal 2022' collection by Pablo Errez who created a range of genderless everyday pieces wearable at home or on streets. The runway was staged together with the designer's carpet and furniture designs which reinforced the impression of the suitability of the comfortable line for remote workers.

The colorful handbag in eye-form with an applied heart - such as saying 'I look at you with love', was presented at the runway of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada on 9 April. It was until now the most fun-loving collection shown during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
