Salzburg Insights: Lena Hoschek 'Tradition' AW21/22 was presented with photo story captured at the outdoor museum 'Salzburger Freilichtmuseum' with reference to traditional crafts of the region

On occasion of the launch of the new Lena Hoschek 'Tradition' range of urban-rural clothing inclusively scarves and belts for Autumn/Winter 2021/22 at the end of this month, a selection of the models, which are such as the name of the line suggests were developed from 'tradition'al Austrian clothing (trachten), was presented recently with a photo story captured by photographer Daniel Kindler at the outdoor museum 'Salzburger Freilichtmuseum' in Grossgmain.

The museum's chapters follow a geographical narrative of the regions of the Austrian Federal State Salzburg with its five 'Gaue', the Flachgau, Tennengau, Pongau, Lungau and Pinzgau for showing architecture and the people's lifestyle including crafts over six centuries at more than 100 authentic buildings. Lena Hoschek 'Tradition' is set into these sceneries which are normally used to provide visitors insights into the population's historical life circumstances - also with special crafts events for example for lace-making (in German 'Klöppeln') or weaving (fast checked today at the museum's event calendar published at freilichtmuseum.com).

Images: The pictures show models from the new Lena Hoschek 'Tradition' AW2021/22 range including leather items which were developed by the designer in cooperation with the leather expert Markus Meindl. Left: Blouse 'Heidelinde' in combination with 'Princess dinner terra alpine' jacket and trousers created in cooperation with Meindl. Right: The turtleneck 'Wendy' in taupe is worn under the dress 'Susi - Erntedankfest' in combination with the belt 'Heritage' in brown. The models were staged at a barn with sickles for mowing (left) and a knotted net for the carriage of hay or grain (right) at the outdoor museum 'Salzburger Freilichtmuseum' in Grossgmain.
