The circle of life translated into life-affirming jewelry series 'Roots & Growth' from recycled materials by Viennese goldsmith label Lena Kris

The new 'Collection of Fragments' by Vienna-based goldsmith Lena Kris with the special spring series 'Roots & Growth' is presented at Instagram with reference to the poetry about the 'recipe of life' - a circle from fading to blooming - from the book 'The Sun and Her Flowers' by Rupi Kaur. Lena Kris is the label by the award-winning Austrian Lena Grabher who learned goldsmithing in Vienna, studied jewelry, design at the school 'Alchimia' in Florence and art, metallurgy at 'New Paltz', State University of New York. For the creation of new pieces, the designer works with recycled materials.

Lena Kris jewelry is inspired by life and the energy that comes from oneself and the energy from outside, from people, things or objects that give strength. The 'Collection of Fragments' is described as jewelry developed from the search for roots in ourselves. Currently, Lena Grabher runs workshops at the 'Lena Kris' atelier & showroom in the city's 2nd district (Leopoldstadt) where old pieces - perhaps old pieces with a personal story - can be transformed into new ones; details at lenakris.com/workshops.
