![]() Currently, Austria is in lockdown - and even when it's sometimes more a 'Suppose, it's lockdown and nobody cares'-situation, a great part of the population is seriously trying to reduce contact with others to get back to normal life as soon as possible with all the entertainment possibilities like fine dining, cocktail parties and dance balls. Vienna-based couture and ready-to-wear design label Callisti by Martina Mueller-Callisti gives a first taste of the style of gowns for upcoming festive events and balls (ball dates fast checked today) like the Vienna Philharmonic Ball (20 January 2022), Techniker Cercle (22 January 2022), or the Vienna Opera Ball (24 February 2022). Callisti (founded 2007) is known for a glamorous and elegant style which received in 2018 the 'New Designer of the Year' award by ELLE Germany and Mercedes-Benz. The new collection 'Sense & Sensibility' will be available from mid-December at the online shop www.callisti.at and the Callisti store at Weihburggasse in the 1st district of Vienna where the couture gowns can be customized on request. The collection is designed for festive events like Christmas parties, New Year's Eve galas, the red carpet, cocktail receptions and weddings. The presentation of the range of gowns and cocktail dresses is accompanied by an expression of hope into our ability to handle the Covid situation. "I thought for a long time whether I should design an evening wear collection," is Martina Mueller-Callisti cited in the press release (text translated by Fashion.at from German), "but then I thought: Of course! We all want to look forward to the ball season full of hope and to experience unforgettable moments again. To wear beautiful robes, to go out. And to feel the joy of life. That was also the reason why I staged this shoot with a lot of commitment. Right now we are all in the mood for something beautiful! "
