Paris-based interior designer and architect India Mahdavi presents ceramics and home textiles in collaboration with H&M Home

Paris-based India Mahdavi has already cooperated with brands like Nespresso or Louis Vuitton and is internationally known for her work such as for The Gallery at Sketch in London. The café, restaurant outfitted in Hollywood pink became an Instagram hit. Insights into her collaborations and projects are published at india-mahdavi.com. Currently, the exhibition 'Le Design Pour Tous' (Design for All) at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in the scenography by India Mahdavi shows the impact of two French department stores on the democratization of design (high style for affordable prices).

India Mahdavi was born in Tehran, Iran, grew up in the USA and Europe, and is today active in the whole world. She is known for her colorful, optimistic, playful designs. The new collaborative India Mahdavi X H&M Home collection of ceramics and home textiles made of natural materials consists of plates, bowls, pitchers with hand-sprayed patterns, or vases made from earthenware, 100% cotton cushion covers with digitally printed checked patterns, a blanket in 100% merino wool, or a handwoven merino wool rug. The brand 'H&M Home' with a range of lamps, furniture, home textiles, tableware,... with focus on crafts was founded by fashion retailer H&M in 2009 and runs nowadays own concept stores in London, Munich, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, Zurich, Brussels, Paris, Dubai, and from autumn 2022 also near Vienna in Vösendorf on 560 m2 at Westfield Shopping City Süd.

The India Mahdavi X H&M Home collection arrives earlier and will be available in selected stores and at hm.com/home (where the collection is already on view - fast checked today) from 28 April 2022.
