Vienna Insight: Fashion pop-up by ciao.thelabel at the gastro-garden 'Palais Freiluft' in the garden of Palais Auersperg

Fashion.at followed the invitation to an outdoor fashion presentation at the 'Palais Freiluft' in Vienna. The gastro-garden powered by the lifestyle magazine freizeit.at of the daily newspaper Kurier is located in the garden of Palais Auersperg. Over the summer months, several gastronomers teamed up to serve dishes after recipes from all over the world like Asian sushi to Mexican tacos and Viennese cuisine.

Matching the holiday flair of the shared gastro-garden which appears like a globetrotter culinary tour, the new brand dedicated to the cosmopolitan-bohemian boho chic 'ciao.thelabel' has chosen the location and invited to the press presentation at the pop-up store-booth. Fashion.at visited the garden in the afternoon to meet Nina Nossal before the rush got too big. The fashion entrepreneur with focus on affordable fashion, sustainable production and fair production processes started her business with the first label 'Boho Babes' (April 2021) during the last months of her Corporate Management studies in Vienna.

In spring 2022, the management specialist with design skills founded her second label 'ciao.thelabel'. The name summarizes the idea behind the collection. The light summer clothing for women is inspired by the 1970s, the freedom of movement and lifestyle in Ibiza, Mykonos or at the Amalfi coast. Especially destinations in Italy like Siena, Napoli, or Venice are names givers of the airy dresses, wrapped tops and trousers.

The collection was developed with tailors from seven basic patterns and made of satin from 50% recycled viscose/50% organic viscose. The fabrics are printed with designs created by Nina Nossal herself together with graphic specialists for the application as textile prints. Eight prints are currently produced in various colors by a manufacturer in Barcelona. The clothing is sewed together in a small workshop with 14 dressmakers in Romania. All pieces are offered in one-size except the trousers which are available in two sizes; practical for the online sale at ciaothelabel.at with worldwide delivery.
