Vienna is in energy saving mode. Fashion.at style tip: Put on warm clothes!

The energy saving strategies of the Austrian government for the federal cultural institutions were made officially public two days ago. After a short checkup of the energy saving measures (source ots.at), the best fashion tip for autumn/winter is 'Put on warm clothes!'. The temperature in theaters or museums is limited to 19° celsius during the heating season.

Restaurants or cafes will very probably set similar reduced temperature limits - not just to save money, but as a sign of solidarity in the currently challenging time of the energy crisis with the guests who reduce the comfort of their lifestyle to enable others to get more easily through these difficult times. Most likely, evening gowns will be worn this winter with warm jackets or scarves when sitting in the opera or theater. In the last years, many have enjoyed the heated outdoor areas of restaurants and cafes. It's expected that outdoor heaters will be turned off or limited to a minimum heat level through this and perhaps also the winter months of the upcoming years.

Fashion.at collected some pieces from the latest press releases concerning trendy pieces for outdoors.
