'Virtual Gear' by adidas Originals literally inflates fashion in the air-free space of the Metaverse for enabling users to float with superpower life vests

Wearing outfits in the Metaverse is first a technological challenge concerning entering the Metaverse, customizing an avatar and transferring money to a crypto-currency wallet for getting more exclusive outfits and accessories. And at this point the next challenge of the Metaverse occurs: It's not only necessary to have the ability to customize a virtual representative (avatar), players need to have the talent to include a well-dosed portion of dramatic self-expression.

The new collection 'Virtual Gear' by adidas Originals inflates literally the air-free space of the Metaverse with pieces such as the 'P.F.D – Personal Flotation Device' developed from classical adidas styles and the futuristic look of Metaverse fashion. The P.F.D. reminds a life vest for floating in the digital, not liquid, not gas environment of the Metaverse.
Since 16th November, the collection is presented with closer information about each item at adidas.com/metaverse with the option to buy directly via non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace Opensea where the activity of the virtual store using the blockchain Etherum can be observed at opensea.io/collection/adidas-virtual-gear/activity. Shown are for example the currently ongoing transfers or the already sold items. Adidas remarks in the media release that owners of pieces of the 'adidas Originals: Capsule NFT' collection (launched in May 2022) can replace their items by agreeing to 'burn' (items can't be accessed any longer) older collection pieces in order to generate one of the new digital NFTs.

At adidas.com/metaverse, it's described as "the life vest of the Metaverse" equipped with several superpowers like anti vertigo tech or impulsive collision deflection.
