Winner-directory of the 'Schmuckstars' awards 2022 is a guide through Austria's jewelry and watch business

The annual Schmuckstars awards have several benefits. The illustrious event for the award ceremony receives every year attention by the media due the VIP guests attending the country's one and only event where the best jewelry and watch-makers and -retailers can be met personally. Another advantage is the resulting winner directory in 12 categories which can be used as a guide for shopping.

Shopping is also in two categories explicitly a criterion. 'Shop Design of the Year' honors the qualities of a new or newly refurbished brick and mortar store for the consumer experience. Insights into the winning store 'Schmollgruber Uhren & Juwelen' located in Ried im Innkreis in Upper Austria are published at schmuckstars.com with details about the approach of architect Susanne Salhofer, the daughter of the owners who run the company in the third generation.

The second shop-relevant category is 'The Web-Star of the Year'. It honors the quality of the online shop in regard to the user experience and additionally the appearance of the retailer in social media, especially Facebook and Instagram, as well as the possibility of interaction. This year, the award was handed out to two retailers.

The jeweler and goldsmith 'Gebrüder Armbruster' is located in a fairytale-like looking building, the Tiroler Schmuckkastl, a landmark in the Tyrolean village Seefeld which is visited by guests from all over the world for summer hiking or winter sports holidays. The romantic architecture of the 'Tiroler Schmuckkastl' (means 'Tyrolean Jewelry Box') inspired the visual appearance of the website and online shop of the jeweler. At schmuckstars.com/nominee/gebruder-armbruster-4/ is explained that the store's wall paintings, a very light figurative mural art from the 18th century called 'Lüftlmalerei' showing everyday life sceneries, are part of the visual concept of the digital appearance as backgrounds for stories and jewelry tips for the international customers.

The other winner in the category 'The Web-Star of the Year' is 'Christ' jewelry and watchmaker with around 200 stores in Germany and Austria such as at the Designer Outlet Parndorf, Lower Austria or at the Mariahilfer Straße in Vienna. At schmuckstars.com/nominee/juwelier-christ-2/, the online shop is described as practical interface which is connected strongly to the brick and mortar store business with features like online live-shopping, wedding ring configurator, and click & collect or ship from store options.
