Vienna Insight: Ballet dancers presented evening gowns created by designers at the Couture Salon on occasion of the Vienna Opera Ball

The Couture Salon provided some images from the presentation of fashion, jewelry, make up and hair style on occasion of the Vienna Opera Ball which will take place on 16 February. The event happened on 26 January at the Hotel Bristol in Vienna and was attended by members of the committee, which organizes the Vienna Opera Ball, as well as guests known from society, theater and TV with strong connection to the ball and the salon such as Desirée Treichl-Stürgkh, the initiator of the Couture Salon (since 2014). The three designers Florentina Leitner, Jennifer Milleder, Moulham Obid were already announced in November with closer information about their award-winning work (article).

A special guest on 26 January was designer Marcos Valenzuela who created the dress of Aleksandra Liashenko, soloist of the Vienna State Ballet. The fashion project was curated by fashion expert and PR-professional Liane Seitz who supports this year the communication activities of the Vienna Opera Ball. The collaboration with Austrian designers will be continued at the opening of the ball. Susanne Bisovsky will create the couture-trachten costumes for the dancers of the opening ballet performance to the Johann Strauß (son) waltz 'Wiener Blut, op. 354' in the choreography by Martin Schläpfer, Director and Chief Choreographer of the Vienna State Ballet.
