Behind the scenes at the creation of Trevor Andrew's artwork for the Disney 100 X H&M street art-inspired collection

As part of the launch of H&M's latest collaborative collection, the Swedish company's Austrian team today gave an insight into the creation of snowboarder, musician and artist Trevor Andrew's artwork for Disney's 100th anniversary collection. Trevor Andrew's artwork has been exhibited around the world, including Deitch Projects and the Modern Art Museum Shanghai. Now the artist's street art tag, GucciGhost, has been incorporated into the designs of the 'Disney 100 X H&M' collection, one of a series of collections celebrating Disney's 100th anniversary. Earlier this year, 'Disney 100' collections by iconic brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Tommy Hilfiger and Givenchy were released. Trevor Andrew is the latest artist to reimagine Disney's iconic characters. The street art-inspired range includes sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts, shirts in relaxed fits, along with accessories like hats, socks, and boxer shorts.

H&M celebrates a world premiere: The collection features H&M's first limited edition skateboards. The skateboard has a seven-ply maple plywood deck that is around 31 inches (approximately 78.74 cm) long and 8 inches (approx. 20.32 cm) wide. One model features a hand-painted Disney logo wordmark by Andrew and the other iconic Disney characters.
