Beverage brand Almdudler teamed up with traditional clothing label Almliebe for a collection of basics with graphics inspired by alpine folklore and tattoo art

On the occasion of the Oktoberfest season, which starts in September, Austrian herbal lemonade brand Almdudler and German traditional clothing label Almliebe created a collection of t-shirts and hoodies with a floral print inspired by alpine folklore and tattoo art aesthetics, with letters placed in the middle that form the names of both brands.

The project for the collection was initiated by Lara Schoeller, the granddaughter of Erwin Klein, who invented the Almdudler herbal drink in 1957, and daughter of Thomas Klein, who runs the company with his sister Michaela Klein. After joining the Viennese family business, Lara Schoeller visited the founders of Almliebe (since 2012) Sonja and Stefanie Ragaller in Munich and the idea for a joint collection was born. In the press release, Lara Schoeller says that the concept embodies a contemporary interpretation of alpine tradition, and the result is a design that seamlessly integrates traditional elements with contemporary aspects. The resulting floral artwork, realized by graphic designer Nadia Cortellesi, interprets alpine tradition in contemporary tattoo style.

Items from the Almdudler x Almliebe collection of t-shirts and hoodies for women and men are already available at Almliebe.com and Almdudler.com (fast checked by Fashion.at today).
